Leon started his Tattoo career back in 2015 when his hobby became his obsession and decided to take the jump into the tattoo industry. Leon apprenticed under local legend Ken Patten for 2-3 years learning advanced drawing techniques and later specialising in black and grey tattooing.

 

Leon has always been drawn towards realism art from an early age. From family and celebrity portraits, timeless skull and roses, animal portraits and classical religious pieces. Nothing is off the cards when it comes to photorealism art.

 

Leon likes to prioritise customer experience and artistic freedom during the tattoo process making sure you are getting a one off piece tailored to your desires.

 

On Friday 13th December 2019 Leon got the keys to his Tattoo studio – THIRTEENTH EMPIRE here in his home town of South Shields. THIRTEENTH EMPIRE is currently solely occupied by Leon and is a private studio only a couple hundred yards from Chichester metro station, Dean Road.
